Foxford Charity Work

Pupils are encouraged to consider the needs of the community at large while they are members of Foxford. Charities have benefitted to the tune of many thousands of pounds due to the enterprise and generosity of students, parents and staff. Recent fund-raising days have raised money for Children in Need.

Music

There is a comprehensive musical activity at Foxford; school choirs, bands and drumestra. Most rehearsals are held at lunchtime and after school. Students have the opportunity to learn an instrument, taught by our own specialist teachers these include Piano/ keyboard, string, woodwind, brass, percussion and guitar. The school holds regular concerts. The Department runs various trips to workshops and professional music concerts.

Drama & Dance

Drama and Dance continue to provide our pupils with opportunities to get involved with a variety of performance activities. Foxford aims to mount a major production every year as well as regular workshops as part of examination courses. The school also runs regular trips to see the best theatre available both locally and nationally as well as maintaining a policy of inviting educational drama groups to perform at Foxford.
