Safeguarding Support

Our Safeguarding Responsibility

At Foxford Community School, we take seriously our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all students. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. All staff are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect, following procedures to ensure that children receive effective support and protection. Through our ethos and curriculum, we promote a common sense of identity and support diversity showing our students how different communities can be united by common experiences and values. Strict adherence to the Foxford Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, which has been created in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022 as well as Local Authority guidance, is mandatory for all staff, governors, visitors and volunteers in the school and not subject to individual discretion.
